Pour illustrer, et donner dans le littéraire, ils ont étudié quelques lettres de cette bonne dame de Sévigné.
Maintenant, pour parfaire leur formation dans l'épistolairement correct, je leur ai donné un travail d'écriture dont voici le sujet:
Racontez une querelle entre automobilistes en respectant tous les codes propres aux lettres de Madame de Sévigné (vouvoiement, langage soutenu...).
Le travail est mené en classe afin qu'ils puissent demander l'aide de tous quand ils sont bloqués par une formulation introuvable.
En voici quelques exemples.
Comment dire, en langage très soutenu:
"Griller le feu rouge"?
Passer outre la signalisation lumineuse.
"ma voiture est foutue maintenant"
Dorénavant, mon véhicule automobile est absolument délabré.
T'avais pas à te garer là!
"La mauvaise situation de votre véhicule a été néfaste pour le passage de mon propre engin."
"Tu conduis comme un pied."
Il semblerait que vous ne soyez pas très à l'aise dans le maniement de votre engin.

J'habite à quelques kilomètres de Grignan où a lieu tous les ans le Festival de la correspondance. La Contesse de Grignan était la fille de Madame de Sévigné.
Cette année entre Noël et le Jour de l'an il y avait une petite animation : "la lettre de réclamation au Père Noël". Je n'y ai pas participé mais je pense que ça devait être sympa.
Décidément on finira par se rencontrer toi et moi car je compte aller à Grignan.... un jour!
